Can Stephen Elliot fire us over the line?

On the face of it, Lambert seems to have done the trick again. Stephen Elliot is a goal scorer. Many might ask "do we need him?", and granted, we are the top scorers in the country. Goals have hardly been a problem.

Elliot may chip in with a few goals, but will play a much more important role. THE GROLT and Chris Martin will be looking over their Shoulders. Knowing that its not only Oli Johnson and Cody Macdonald breathing down their necks, but Republic of Ireland international Stephen Elliot is also ready for some action

During the 04/05 season, while Norwich fans where having their hearts ripped out in Fulham. Stephen Elliot was busy firing in the winner at Upton Park to hand Sunderland the title. A season where the 26 year old found himself third choice behind Kevin Kyle and Marcus 'SCUM' Stewart. Elliot still managed to score some extremely vital goals in that season, and even scored stunning goals against Newcastle and Manchester United in the Premiership the following season.
